Judging by the original price of $185 scrawled on the back of this canvas the artist must have had high hopes for the work. But alas, no such luck. The painting sat gathering dust and mold in the basement of a local antique store for at least two years until I bought it for a song. In the end I guess the old adage is true; "Bad Art + Time = ...........". Well, I'm not really sure, but of course you understand why I couldn't live without the piece. Plus, it's almost five feet wide.
