Based on the subject matter, the artist's signature, and the mysterious inscription on the back of one of the paintings marked "Krijina", I would guess that these paintings are of Eastern European origin by way of Detroit. They make a fantastic set, and I fell in love with th paintings immediately. Now this is what I call restraint ....
